The multi award winning star won three Brit Awards at the February 2009 ceremony, for British Breakthrough, Best Female Solo and Best British Album. She was also nominated for three prestigious Grammy awards in 2009, winning one Grammy Award in the category Best Pop Vocal Album for Rockferry.
